Teacher's Bio

Veronique Haghighi was born and raised in Paris, France, where she received a degree in international trade from the Centre Trudaine CCIP. After years of working in the corporate business world, she realized her passion was communication through language.

When she moved to California, she began teaching French to stay closer to her roots and home country, and has spent the last five years teaching French to a variety of ages, from elementary school students to adults. Veronique is especially gifted in working with high school students.

She designs individualized practice tests that allow her to understand her student’s unique areas for growth and then designs a customized study plan to focus on what they need to improve, whether it’s grammar, vocabulary, or French history. Her in-depth experience in teaching and motivating students helps her clients regularly receive 5s on AP tests. Lastly, Veronique’s warm personality and sense of humor helps students feel comfortable.

While she wants to help her students improve their grades and test scores in French, her ultimate goal is to help students master the language, feel confident about speaking it, and have fun using it!
